About position: PharmD from accredited institution; guides clinical applications of pharmacy; facilitates development, implementation and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies; assists in developing P&P, and standards; reports to DOP; 2 direct reports; top 3 priorities for this job: organizing clinical dept to meet clinical needs of Medical Resident Program, working to streamline PharmacoKinetic service and working on clinical initiatives;

Ideal candidate: 6 years’ clinical coordinator experience in hospital setting or a year residency training with 2 years of clinical exp; clear Texas pharmacy license; completion of accredited Residency in Hospital Pharmacy, specialty training in Disease State Management; ACPE IV cert; Antimicrobial Stewardship cert; ACLS cert;
